Pastor Caleb Campbell has watched Christian nationalism divide his community. Standing against it, he’s suffered the fall out from those who support Christian nationalist ideas.

His observations translate into a book of perspective titled, Disarming Leviathan Loving Your Christian Nationalist Neighbor.

Campbell argues that while it's possible to be both a Christian and hold Christian nationalist ideas, the belief itself is an un-Christian worldview, rooted in ideas about power, race, and property that are irreconcilable with Christian faith. Campbell has come to see himself as a missionary to Christian nationalists, reaching out to them with the love and freedom found in Christ. Disarming Leviathan aims to:

• Provide a deeper understanding of the modern American Christian Nationalist movements and their relationship to American Evangelicalism.

• Explore reasons why so many of our loved ones are committed to it.

• Equip Jesus-followers with loving, hospitable methods for engaging American Christian Nationalists.

• Provide graciously subversive methods for responding to American Christian Nationalist rhetoric, beliefs, and practices.

Caleb Campbell is a seasoned pastor, writer, and ministry strategist who has spent the past two decades serving within the American evangelical church. As a leading voice on the intersection of faith and culture, he actively helps the church confront and constructively respond to the rise of Christian nationalism and political extremism.
